Fran worked a night shift as a die-bond operator at Motorola while raising her two young children then attended ASU receiving a BA in teaching and an MA in counseling. She went on to teach Kindergarten at several west valley districts and retired at the age of 75. To say Fran’s passion was teaching is an understatement. Fran was gifted at introducing young minds into the educational system and nurturing their scholastic development. She taught multiple family generations and was always showered with cards and gifts from parents and students alike. Fran is survived by her daughter Robin, son Steve (wife Mary), her grandchildren, Elisa, Alexis and Aleia and one great grandchild, Liam (Elisa’s son), her sister Betty Deal (husband Gail), and their two surviving children, Cary and Lannis. As Fran wished, she was able to stay at home during her lengthy illness, with her blessed caretaker Norma, by her side.
