Eugene Huie (Ong Ga Kay) passed away in his sleep after a brief illness. He was a grocer for many years in the community of Eloy, Arizona until his health forced him to retire earlier than he had originally planned, and he moved back to Phoenix along with his wife and family in the early 70s. Eugene is survived by three sons, Mon of California, and Jim and John, both of Arizona; four grandchildren, Melissa, Jonathan, Michael, and Jillian; four great grandchildren, Jade, Maddy, Kylie, and Landon; and his siblings, Don, Roy, and Edward of California, and Lee, Jim, and Sue of Phoenix. A visitation will be conducted at the Serenity Chapel at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral services to immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ong Ko Met Association of Phoenix in memory of Eugene.
