Erwin (Erv) Wehinger passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014. He was born in Lansing, MN on November 13, 1917 and moved to Phoenix in 1978. He served over 20 years in the U.S. Army and was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his sister Faith Hinton, daughter Betty J. Smith, grandson Eric Smith and great grandson, Brady Smith. He was an active member of the Paradise Valley Lutheran Church for over 30 years. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 11:00am at Paradise Valley Lutheran Church, 14845 N. 40th Street in Phoenix, AZ. The burial will take place after the memorial service at the Veterans Memorial Cemetary, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ. Donations may be made in the name of Erwin Wehinger to Paradise Valley Lutheran Church.
