Eric was raised all over the world because his father served in the United States Air Force. He moved to Phoenix,.Arizona in 1974 where he went to school and graduated from Maryvale high school.
From a young age Eric was good at taking things apart and putting them back together. Eric went on to become a computer technician for almost 30 years. He was a member of the American Legion where heenjoyed the company of all of his dearest friends. He loved to grill and spend time with his son Michael and daughter Alyssia. Eric enjoyed working on cars and electronics and having a cold glass of beer with family and friends.
Eric was a great teacher of life to his children, especially his daughter. He had a way of getting his point across that seems to make more sense now.
Eric’s world travels made him adaptable to change and prepared him for life‘s journey. He made friends everywhere he went. Eric was the type of dad that would go the extra mile to provide for his kids. His greatest accomplishment was the love he bestowed on his children.
Eric was the fourth child of five children. His oldest brother Andre Lawson preceded him in death. Eric leaves to cherish his memory his son Michael Strong, his daughter Alyssia Lawson and his brother Armand Lawson of Fountain Hills, Arizona and two sisters Sandra and Renee Lawson of Southfield Michigan.
