Elois C Roberts

Elois Cathleen Roberts, 97, of Sun City, passed away on June 15, 2012 at the Lookout Mountain Assisted Living Home in Phoenix, AZ. Elois was born in Oklahoma on September 10, 1914 to parents Mike and Addie Darr. Elois married Graydon Roberts in 1932. Elois and Graydon's son Lanny was born in 1940. Elois and Graydon enjoyed forty years together, camping, fishing, bowling, playing cards and enjoying their grandchildren. Graydon passed away in 1973 and not long after his passing, Elois moved from Avondale to Phoenix where she met her long-time companion, Gordon Williamson. Together, Elois and Gordon spent many years dancing, traveling and enjoying life in Sun City, AZ. Elois is survived by her son, Lanny L. Roberts, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 24th from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Greenwood Mortuary Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave., Phoenix. A graveside service will follow at 10:00 AM at Greenwood Cemetery, 2300 W. Van Buren St., Phoenix.
