Elizabeth Kaplan R. passed way peacefully on July 23, 2013. She was born and raised in Kentucky and moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1955. She was a member of North Phoenix Baptist Church for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Everette and Oma Jane Robinette, a sister Genevieve Hayes, and her beloved husband Dr Melvin Kaplan. She is survived by two sisters, Juanita Hieronymus and Rose Honaker and one brother Ronald Robinette, and her two sons Dr. Robert Maynard of Phoenix, AZ and Dr. Marc Kaplan of Sierra Vista, AZ and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11:00am, with visitation a half hour prior at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Road, Phoenix, Arizona.
Elizabeth requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the church of your choice.
