Edwin H. Wolf, born May 27, 1935 in Baltimore, Maryland passed away peacefully on July 30, 2015. Ed was generous with his time, intellect and wisdom. He was an active community member, a lover of music and the outdoors, and a beloved husband, father and grandfather.
Ed graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics, and Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. He taught as a lecturer for the Law School and authored over 20 articles in the fields of engineering and law. Ed was a managing partner of Falk, Siemer & Glick Law Firm for twenty years, and an Engineering Specialist for Sylvania Electronic Systems Central.
Ed pursued many interests throughout his life. Ed was an avid golfer and performed as an oboist with the Amherst Symphony, the Cheektowaga Symphony Orchestra, and the Phoenix College Community Orchestra. He served as Executive Director of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Chairman of the Board of the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra. Ed was president of the Echo Canyon Property Owners Association, the Westwood Country Club and the Buffalo-Niagara Chapter of the American Jewish Committee.
Ed is survived by his wife Judy, his children Eddie and Lisa, and his grandchildren Jared and Mira. There is a memorial service scheduled for Sunday August 2 at 3:oopm at Temple Solel.
