Dwight Leroy Stubbs

Born December 24, 1935 the second of five children to Leroy Stubbs and Atha Tolleson Stubbs in Dutton, Alabama. Dwight died while feeding his kennel dogs on Wednesday night, July 3, 2014. He is survived by two sons, Spencer (Sonia) and Eric (Debbie) and one grandson, Kyle, his sister, Lois (Carl) and his brother, William Lee. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Ted and his sister, Elaine. Dwight served in the U.S. Army for two years in the mid 1950’s and was stationed in Puerto Rico. After his service in the Army he started a career with Carnation Ice Cream Company where he served as a truck driver and conducted stock inventory in the freezer. Memorial services will be held at 10:30am, Saturday, August 9th, 2014 at Resthaven Park Mortuary, 4310 East Southern Avenue, Phoenix.
