Doris Rogers, 87, of Phoenix passed away on November 14, 2014. She was born in Toledo, Ohio and a resident of Phoenix for 66 years. Doris was a homemaker and a former member of the Washington Women's Club, Glendale Women's Club and the Laurel Chapter of the Eastern Star. Her husband of 54 years, George, preceded her in death in 2004. She is survived by daughters Laura (Chip) Lewis, Linda Matthew, grandchildren Matt and Susie Lewis, Geoff and Angela Matthew, and sister Marlyn Watson. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 20, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral services immediately following at 10:30 a.m. at Greenwood Memorial Lawn Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave.
