On an occasional Friday, I’ll remember shifts Deb and I worked together.  I’ve been away from PCH for seven years, yet the fond  memories of her company remain.  Deb was smart, kind and fun.  

I wish her family peace and continued recovery.  

Deborah and my daughter Tania  were childhood friends.  The fun and happiness they shared will always be remembered with a love 

I really enjoyed talking with Deb about her family. She loved all of you so much! Elie, I remember you bringing one of the girls to work so Deb could do her hair before a competition. She was a happy mama.

The tribute movie is beautiful.  I’m glad I knew Deb.

Dear Elie & Family,

We love you all so much and are deeply sorry for your loss. To share a short memory: Debbie was the first person to introduce me to tuna casserole. I had no idea what it was before that as it’s not exactly a staple of Lebanese cuisine. I remember when you introduced us to her for the first time. She was full of warmth and love and these things live on eternally through the family that warmth and love created.

My condolences to the Saikaly and Buchholtz families. Special prayers for Cassie, Sean and Hope during this difficult time. Words cannot express how I feel.  Earth lost an amazing person but heaven gained Deb's loving soul.  Deb and I celebrated so many life moments together.  We were there for each other.  We attended each other's recitals and concerts. Deb was a great dancer and had the best smile performing!  We had movie nights and loved to ride the roller coasters (The Eagle) at Great America, singing "Eye of the Tiger".  We watched the Bears win the Super Bowl at Creighton, watched the Bulls win their Championships and went to many concerts together over the years (Buffett ranked up there!).  I know you watched the Cubs end their drought.  Celebrating sacraments, graduations, marriage and growing our families are only a some of the memories.  We traveled together and did crazy things.  I love and will miss you. Thanks for the memories Deb!

Deb was always one of the nicest pharmacists, she was always pleasant on the phone and willing to help with our questions. Condolences to your family, sending you lots of hugs and prayers.

Deb and I have worked together for many years at PCH.  She provided amazing care for the Hematology-Oncology patient population where I worked as a RN. My heart breaks for this loss and for her family. My prayers are with you during this horrific, unexpected time.

Deb, I was blessed to have the opportunity to get to know you and I will always remember the Joy in your face when talking to you about your children, specifically about dance, as we shared a commonality, sharing pictures  and videos with each other with so much pride. Deb would always give me her full attention listening to my stories, and I can only hope that I did the same for you. Deb was such a gentle, kind soul and I will surely miss our conversations my friend. My heart breaks for the pain your family must be feeling and I will keep them lifted up in prayer that in time, their spirits will find peace and comfort with the years of loving memories you surely left within their hearts, and  with the knowledge of an eternal reunion to come! My heart always warmed when I saw Deb and her beautiful smile. Such kindness for her friends and colleagues, and great love for her family. Too short, but surely a life well-lived. Prayers for you and the kids, Elie.

I'm so sorry for your loss.  I am among her coworkers at Phoenix Children's Hospital in the pharmacy department.  We are a family here, and Deb's passing was losing a family member for us as well.  We are saddened and grieving here, because she was such a good friend.  Her warm personality and devotion to all that touched her will be deeply missed.

I worked with Deb for years at PCH.  It was my honor to know her and experience her kindness.   I miss trading pictures of kids, playing Christmas music on our phones and so much else.  She was devoted to her family and worked hard (and well) at PCH.  My condolences to Elie and the kids.  

It's never easy to lose a loved one - especially a Mother!  I hope you have a faith that sustains you in times like these.  I'm grateful for my belief that life goes on after this time on Earth.  I believe our loved ones are aware of us and pulling for our success just as they were while here on this Earth.  I believe that there is an amazing reunion going on for Deb with all her friends and family that preceded her in death and that she is Happy.  This life is short compared to eternity!  I know you will be able to see and be with her again.  I'm sorry for the pain and emptiness that you feel right now, and will keep you in my prayers for peace and comfort.

Deb was one of the sweetest and most kind hearted souls I’ve ever met. She was always willing to lend a hand and try her hardest to take care of patients. She spoke often and with pride of her beautiful family- how well the kids were doing in dance, how much she loved each one of her sweet babies. We talked about how she missed the seasons and the way the leaves changed on the trees. She will be deeply missed. I hope that she has been reunited with her favorite Maggie girl and pray she is watching over us all. God bless you Deb. 

My sweet friend Deb, you were one of my first dance moms that I met and connected with.  Your loyal friendship and wisdom will always be cherished!  ❤️ My shy daughter Grace found a true sister-like friendship with Hope.  Many think of our two girls as twins.  I will miss you dearly.  I know you are in heaven watching over your precious kids and Elie.  The world is a better place because of you.  

When I think of Deb I picture a sea of dance costumes and endless dates booked with memories to be made with her kids (superstars)!  I see her initials written in purple....always purple.  We are in disbelief here at PCH but it cannot begin to compare to the magnitude of anguish you are feeling.  Thank you for allowing us to have her 8 hours out of the day, 5 days a week.  

You will be missed to much Deb!   Praying for your family, especially your kids who will always need their mom.

One thing that was always clear about Deb was that she ADORED her family (and dogs).  She would do anything for them at any time.   She would talk about her children with such pride and she always had a story to share.  Deb had the kindest heart and she will be desperately missed at PCH.
