David R. Truax

David was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. The son of David Robert Truax Sr. and Ana Wadene Cunningham. David graduated from Greenway High School in 1987. After graduation, he proceeded to Phoenix College and obtained his Associates Degree. He spent most of his adult life as an Elevator Service Mechanic in the Elevator Industry of Local 140.

David was active in the church community. He liked spending time with his three children and their spouses, as well as his six grandchildren. He enjoyed the beach, camping, and other outdoor activities.

He was preceded in death by Ana Wadene Cunningham, Mildred and Robert Truax, Madelyn and Charles Youngker, Rosemary and John Shelley, and Sebastion and Marisa Corsino. David is survived by his parents, companion, siblings, children and grandchildren.

David always had his door open for anyone who needed it. Dave will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the American Heart Association or the Phoenix Children's Hospital.
