Darlene Lenice Ward, 73 of Sun City, AZ (Formerly from Pierre, SD) passed away on August 28th, 2015. She was born on November 3rd, 1941 in Minot ND. She is survived by her husband Paul Ward, her children Linda Ward, Glendale, AZ; Londa Spaulding, Glendale, AZ; Loretta and David Redder, Watertown, SD; Randy and Karen Ward, Pierre, SD; Paulette and Bo Palladino, San Diego, CA; Angela and Mark Parry, Fort McDowell, AZ; her grandchildren Luke and Jamie Ward, Bennington, NE; Joshua and Emma Spaulding, Buckeye, AZ; Kailey Palladino, Des Moines, IA; Jonathon Ward, Albany, OR; Chelsey Ward, Spearfish, SD; Matthew Spaulding, Glendale, AZ; Bridget Redder, Bismarck, ND; Rachel Ward, Pierre, SD; Andrew Parry, Fort McDowell, AZ; Ariana Parry, Fort McDowell, AZ; Brooke Redder, Watertown, SD; her great grandchildren, Eva Spaulding, Buckeye, AZ; Lealon Spaulding, Buckeye, AZ; her brother Donald and Linda New, Monroe, MI and many wonderful sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews, and many amazing family cats and dogs. She was preceded in death by her mother Margaret New, her father Arthur New, her mother-in-law Mary Ward, her father-in-law Clare Ward, her son-in-law Lealon Spaulding, her sister-in-laws Penny New, Peggy Ward, Velma Ward and her Niece Clara Finn.

Services will be held in Arizona on September 1, 2015 at 5pm, Maryvale Baptist Church 5702 W 35th Ave Phoenix, AZ 85017 and September 8, 2015 at 3pm, Faith Lutheran Church 714 N Grand Ave, Pierre, SD 57501.
