The photo is Darla at my bridal shower.  She always was there for every event she could be supporting me and other family members. She was an incredible person and an amazing great aunt to me, I appreciated and loved her lots and will miss her very much!

Darla was a loving and dear friend of mine for many years.  I first met Darla at the church we both attended.  Later, we attended the same Bible study.  During those years I got to know her quite well.  I will always remember her sweet smile and gentle spirit.  I feel so blessed to have had Darla in my life for those years.  I already miss her and her passing leaves a big void in my life and in my heart.

Darla was so much like her mother, Bonnie, always so gentle, kind and loved the Lord with all her heart.  She had a very happy life so full of love and fun as the memorial video shows.  May you find peace in knowing you will be with her and all your loved ones again in the Kingdom of Heaven.

I first met Darla at my church.  I remember visiting her shortly after the birth of her daughter, Desiree.  She and her family have been dear friends for so many years.  Desiree was in my Sunday school class for many years and Darla has been a precious member of our Precept Bible study for many years as well.  She was always a kind, sensitive and gentle soul.  She loved to give gifts and never failed to bring gifts to all at Christmas or whenever she was inspired.  My husband loved her deviled eggs, and she always sent some home with me for him.  Darla, I love you so much.  I am so thankful that I have been blessed with your friendship and know we will meet again!  You always prayed for our Mikey, who left us in January, so I am thankful that he and you are now with Jesus with no more pain but abundant peace and joy!  You will leave a huge void in our Bible study and friendship circle and even more so in the lives of your loving husband, Rodney and beautiful daughter, Desiree.  We love you Darla.  


I will always remember when Darla came to my home to visit me after the loss of my daughter Lindsey.   She was in Indiana visiting other family and made a special trip to spend time with me and let me know she cared.

Darla use to come sit on our porch and sing.  She had a beautiful voice and loved singing.  She lived the next street over and you could hear her singing in her back yard.  You will be missed sweet cousin ❤️

We are sending our most heartfelt condolences during this very sad time, we will remember Darla’s wonderful and gentle soul that will forever remain in our hearts. May she Rest In Peace.
