Daniel Louis Bernal, of Phoenix, Arizona and a proud veteran of the Army, died on Monday, October 10, 2022 surrounded by his family. Daniel was born in Denver, Colorado on March 18, 1949 and was the son of Louis and Rita Bernal.
Dan was a lifelong Denver Bronco fan and frequently spoke about selling hotdogs at the very first Denver Bronco game in Mile High Stadium. Dan truly spent his life serving others. He spent much of his working career helping individuals as a financial advisor. In his spare time, he would coach the local football and baseball teams in Helena, Montana. Dan loved spending his vacations taking his family on cross country road trips throughout the country. He was always known as a person you could count on in the time of need. During his retirement, he traveled and went on cruises, but mostly, Dan enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his children and grandchildren grow.
Dan leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Beverly, his children Michelle (Chris) and Jason (Elizabeth) and grandchildren Annabelle, Charlie, Maya and Coleman. A committal service for Daniel will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
