Daniel James Odell Andrews

His journey began in Los Angeles, CA, where he resided with his parents. His parents then moved to Hartford, CT. Danny graduated from Northwest Catholic High School and attended the University of Connecticut, where he and his father grew to love UConn basketball.

Danny then moved back to Los Angeles and had an extensive career with the phone company. He became affectionately known as “Mr. Telephone Man.”

He then moved to his forever home in Buckeye, AZ, near his closest cousins, who call themselves “The Boys.” (Danny – David – Marc – Demetrius)

Danny was the life of the party. He always had a big smile and warm demeanor, making everyone who knew him feel special. Gatherings with Danny were always filled with laughter and joy.

Whenever our family would meet, you could count on Danny, David, Marc, Demetrius, Charisse, Lesa, Janet, Twila, Bob, Berto, Andrea, and Jojo to be up all night laughing and entertaining the whole family! They were always the life of the gathering and the joy they brought to the family.

Our son, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend will be sorely missed, leaving many to mourn his loss. He leaves his parents, Daniel and Earlean Andrews (Connecticut), daughter Asia Andrews (Florida), sister Janet Andrews and nephews Julian and Daniel Carrington (Connecticut), Aunt Twila and Robert McKinney Sr. Robert McKinney (Berto) (Connecticut), plus numerous cousins, family members, and more loving friends than we could possibly list.

He is Predeceased by Grandparents - Roy Odell and Julia Andrews, Aunties: Janet and Shirley Andrews, and Uncle Leroy Andrews.

A memorial service for Daniel will be held Friday, August 11, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 East Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85022.
