Craig clyde Thomas Springs

Springs, Craig T. 61, went to be with the Lord on April 11, 2011. He was born in Knox, Indiana to A. T. and Bertha Springs and made Phoenix his home since he was 8. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty of 43 years. Together they had 2 children Cindy Thiesse (Ken) and Katie Floyd (Aaron) , grandchildren: Christopher Springs, Jonathan Thiesse, Craig Thiesse, Michael Thiesse, Megan Del Pozo, Sarah Bockmiller, Savannah Bockmiller, Jessica, Ashley and Hailey Floyd and 3 great grandchildren Brayden Wise, Christopher Springs, Jr., and Chayson Springs. Craig is survived by his brothers, Michael Baker, Patrick Baker, Dennis Baker (Jeannie) and sister, Amy Wessel (William). Before his declining health, his passion was golfing. He could be found on the nearest course with clubs in hand. He also bred and raced greyhounds for several years. He loved traveling to Idaho to visit with Aunt Phyllis & Edward Bean for some of her delicious homemade pies. He was part owner in Springs & Sons Electric with his father and brother Dennis before taking a medical retirement 13 years ago. Services will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011, at 12:00 p.m. at West Greenway Bible Church, 5341 W. Greenway Rd., Glendale, Az 85306. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of the Valley or Diabetes Association Arrangements under the direction of A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, Phoenix, AZ.
