He was born in Cement, Oklahoma to George and Marie Messick. He was proud Navy veteran and retired from IBM as an Engineer where he enjoyed working on Military contracts.
Clovis survived by an ex-wife Ruth Ann Messick, two children, David Messick, Debra Messick Coon, son-in-law Dean Coon, 3 grandchildren, Thomas T. Coon, Alexis B. Coon, Danielle Coon Messenger and her husband Jeremy Messenger, 3 great-grandchildren, Elijah Messenger, Bethany Messenger, Haddie Grace Messenger. Clovis is also survived by 5 brothers, Terry Messick, Jerry Messick, Ronnie Messick, Tony Messick, Cody Messick, and their respective families.
Clovis was a wonderful father and a friend to everyone he met. He enjoyed retirement, books, and his weekly breakfast and coffee with his good friends.
