Cheuk Shun Tam

Cheuk Shun Tam was born in Kaiping Canton, China. He join the military services when he was 18, started his career in various trades and became a successful entrepreneur. He raised four children with his wife Peng. From Canton to Hong Kong and later in Arizona, he has always been there for his family and friends. He is a man of wisdom with a heart bigger than the world. He will forever be missed but never forgotten by all those that know him. He is survived by his wife, two sons, two daughters, six grandsons, four granddaughters and a great-granddaughter. Rest in peace grandpa Tam. A visitation will be held on December 20, 2020 beginning at 10:00 am, with a funeral service following at 11am:00 am at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary in the Agave Room, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd. Phoenix, Arizona 85013.

Due to current situations, the family is asking that if you do not feel well to please stay at home and get feeling better. We are asking that you please practice social distancing, abide by health regulations, and stay safe and well.

譚灼舜大人出生于開平矢山廣龍村的富商之家，家族德高望重，他經歷两個

不同社會，正是生活在這樣的年代，新中國成立后完全改变了他的人生軌跡，

正所謂適者生存，18岁的他光荣入伍，編入蘭州軍區空軍後勤部,五年軍戌生涯

他為自己的人生道路打下坚实的软、硬基础.在復役期間大人意䛊到國家科技人

才缺泛，轉業後棄工從學，成功考入廣東省輕工業學院化工系專業，以優異的

成績完成學業，被政府分配到江門甘化廠，在單位出色的表現被保送到華南工學

院主攻有機化學兩年，學成後在江門市,創立江門市中心化學實驗室，只可惜後

因國內政治動蕩,對知識分子的諸多不利，無耐之下前往香港發展,在香港大人先

後經營過：假發廠，制衣廠，建築商,為香港社會作出了很大的貢獻.

譚灼舜大人育有两男两女，儿女孝順，學業有成，他們都是對社會有貢獻的

生意人. 大人退休後跟隨儿子來美國定居,團圆,享受儿孫福，直到人生的終點.

譚灼舜大人熱愛公益事業：家鄉的老人院，學校，月刊，村里的村大道兴建，

門面維修，新建文化管，各项维修，大隊禮堂的重建⋯⋯等等都一一慷慨解囊，

捐赠善款，大人是一個善于助人為樂的人，常言道助人為快樂之本，在香港他不

斷地帮助同鄉的人和親朋好友安排就業，幫助他們申請政府合法的金錢,房屋和

各種津貼，深受鄉親們和親朋好友的愛戴和擁護.

大人是個熱愛生活，愛護家庭，有責任，有擔當，樂意奉獻的人，而且為人

随和、寬厚、忠直、善心、老實、無私、勤勞、勇敢、考順、永遠帶著微笑，

大人的離去讓所有認識他的人都扼碗嘆息，無比悲痛.
