You will be missed. I can still hear your voice sometimes when I think about the church family we had at Meadows. My condolences and sympathy to the family. You will be in my prayers.

Pastor Chuck... You are and will continue to be missed so much. You were a huge influence on me throughout my teen and young adult years, and you taught me that you can be a Christian AND have a sense of humor. You were such an enthusiastic cheerleader for the church's youth, and worked hard to include us in activities that would help us grow into well-rounded adults. I appreciated your honesty, as well as your unapologetic way of tackling tasks. I admired your love for our church and for all of us. And honestly, the biggest testament (to me) of your influence is that my father attended your memorial service today, which is an honor he reserves for truly special people (as you know). I was so bummed when I found out that, due to your health, you would not be able to officiate my wedding in March 2012. I had always imagined that you would be there. I still deeply regret that my husband and son never had the honor of meeting you. While I will miss your hearty laugh and youthful spirit, I am SO thankful that you are no longer suffering. Please keep an eye on us down here. :-) XOXO

What a gentle, wonderful, Godly man for my precious friend to have and to hold all these years. Their bond is remarkable. Should we all be so blessed to have even a part of what they had together.

We are going to miss Pastor Chuck. He taught me a lot and helped me grow in the Lord. I know that he is in a much better place and is out of pain.
I want to thank you Pastor Chuck for all the help you gave me with my family. I am thankful for the prayers you said for our family.

Chuck you will always hold a special place in my heart as you taught me so much about the Lord. I was stubborn and didn't always want to listen but you had a great deal of patience with me and never gave up on me. I always appreciated that. When I visited the church in recent years it just was not the same without you. I thank the Lord for putting you in my life to teach me and help me to grow in his ways. It was a pleasure to know you. I know you are no longer suffering. The Lord has raised you up and you are resting in peace up in heaven. I love you and thank you for everything I didn't always express or even act grateful but I was and continue to be. 

One of my favorite Hymnals that reminds me of Chuck when I hear it is "Here I am Lord." He selflessly served our Lord and gave so much to others to ensure they were learning the true love and sacrifice of our Lord.

I was so glad he had the opportunity to marry his granddaughter Alexa to my son Chris as well as get to hold his great granddaughter. I have a mixture of emotions for all of you, but want to express the joy of what is to come. As one of my favorite hymnals goes, when we all get to Heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus will sing and shout the victory. :) as well as see all our loved ones and meet many new faces. Know that I am still praying for you all and your grieving process. Love you all

We lived in Phoenix for 10 years, spent several years attending the Meadows Baptist Church.  With Pastor Chuck's guidance, we learned and grew in the Lord until it was time for our family to move on.  With the love of our beautiful church family to lift us, we moved back northeast.  I can still hear both his laugh and Treva's and I can remember the ladies bible studies I attended.  God bless you Pastor Chuck and thank you for your service in the Lord while on this earth.
