Pierrette was born November 7, 1931, to Pierre and Cecile Wolf in Metz, France (Province of Lorraine). Her parents were horticulturists who built their family floral business from the ground up. Pierrette was raised in the Catholic faith with her six siblings. She bravely endured the hardships of WWII and married Eric, an American soldier, in 1955. They moved to Arizona eventually settling in Scottsdale, where they raised their family. Determined to assimilate, she taught herself English by reading newspapers and watching the Art Linkletter television show. Pierrette worked for 30 years at Motorola in several manufacturing and administrative roles. She retired in 1996 and enjoyed traveling, gardening and being involved in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eric Norrland Blomquist. She is survived by her daughter Lorraine, son Eric (Rebecca), daughter Roxanne (David), and son Bruce (Rajean); 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; her sister Mady (Alain); sister-in-laws Marlene, Mary and Anne.
A visitation will be held at Greenwood Memory Lawn, 719 N. 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009, on June 3, 2024, at 10 am, followed by a service at 11 am and a graveside ceremony at 12:30 pm.
