Carolyn Elizabeth Fink, 68, passed away on December 11, 2020, in the comfort of her home in Sun City, Arizona. She joins her parents Nancy Hope Fabro (nee Miles) and Samuel Prosser, her special friend Rainer Barbi, and many other friends and family members in eternal rest. Born Carolyn Elizabeth Prosser on February 23, 1952, in Tucson, Carolyn was proud to be a native Arizonan. Her family moved to Phoenix when she was two years old, and apart from a brief stint in California, she lived in the Phoenix area the rest of her life. She attended Cortez High School. Carolyn worked most of her life in the grocery or retail industry. When she retired, she was General Manager of a pipemaking supply company. Carolyn was an avid bowler, and a long-time member of the Arizona Bowlerettes. She served several years on the board of Arizona Bowlerettes, including five years as their President. Other loves included bunko, Disney, musicals, holidays, casinos, amusement parks, rock painting and travel. Most of all, she loved being a mother and grandmother. Carolyn is survived by two sons, Dean and Anthony “Tony” Fink and 3 grandchildren, Leanna, Carlee and Reece Fink. She is also survived by her aunt Betty Green, her sister Nancy Woodsum (Ralph), and brothers John Prosser (Janet) and Buck Prosser. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews whom she adored: Tawni Crider (David), Andrea Staten (Mike), Sommer Prosser, Daniel Prosser (Sharon), Cheryl Thompson (Mike), and Shane Prosser (Ali). Recently, Carolyn was thrilled to meet additional siblings Laurel Roth, and Don, Dick, Dale, and Robert Hull. Her family plans to hold a suitable memorial service when it can be done safely from COVID. We estimate scheduling something in nine months to a year. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in her memory to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014 (602) 530-6992 or www.hov.org.
