Carlos lived his entire life in Phoenix. Following his graduation from Phoenix Union High School he worked at a body repair shop and later in life started a new career at Talking Stick Casino & Resort where he became a supervisor in his area; he worked there until two weeks before his passing.
Carlos met the Love of his Life, Patty, in 1990 and remained true to the end. Carlos loved his family and looked forward to special hunting events so he could spend one-on-one time with his son Charles. They went hunting for elk, javelina and deer. He never missed a birthday and his strong work ethic is passed on to his children who describe him as “fiercely loyal" and generous. He could also be found in front of the TV when the Nascar races were on.
Carlos leaves behind his true love Patty; children Charles, Elizabeth, Jena, Christopher, and Jerry; grandchildren Robert, Cody, Ryan, Daisy Mae, Gabriel, Veronica, Jessica, and Elizabeth;
his sister Mary Gonzalez (John) and many nieces and nephews all who loved him and will truly miss him.
Carlos is preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Delfina Romo; his brothers Tony Jr., Marcos, and Jaime as well as his grandson Robert.
