A lifelong Phoenix resident and native, she grew up in downtown Phoenix and attended Saint Gregory’s Catholic Elementary School, Xavier College Preparatory and Arizona State University.
As a passionate and dedicated public servant, Brigid spent a career of nearly three decades with the City of Phoenix Prosecutor's Office as a Victim Advocate and a Legal Assistant. As a devoted mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and spouse of 29 years to her childhood sweetheart, there was simply nothing more important to Brigid than her family. There was also no delineation between her close circle of beloved friends, they were all family in her eyes and treated as such.
As being the most beautiful of souls, Brigid personified what it meant to be unconditionally kind and compassionate. She always put the welfare and needs of others before her own and was usually the first to find the positive aspects of any situation. Brigid loved to hike, go for long walks, decorate, and entertain her family and friends. If you were ever lucky enough to be invited into her home, you were in for a treat as she always pulled out all the stops to make people feel welcome.
She is survived by her husband P.J., Daughter Sydney, Son Hayden, brothers Jeff and Blair and many friends and family who will all greatly miss the warmth and light she brought to life. She was the greatest friend, soulmate, and mother anyone could have ever asked for. Her light will perpetually shine through her children who were her entire world.
Fly with the angels dear Brigid, you brought so much to this world and left it far too early. We love you and will hold you in our hearts forever.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Brigid's name to www.phxffcharities.org
A memorial mass for Brigid will be held Monday, March 25, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4715 N Central Ave, Phoenix, Arizona 85012.
