Years of connection; what a wonderful man Brian was. I know he will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and friends and family. My heart goes out to Bonnie and the children for I know their loss is great. I believe Brian is looking over us from a far, and pray I will see him again someday. Dear Brian....God Bless and Keep you, and May your rest in peace eternally.

Who was this man, Brian Tyler?  He was different things to different people.  We are going to share what Brian was to us.
Brian was our neighbor and friend, in fact, we considered him family.  We loved his wit, his humor, his determination and sincerity, at times he was honest to a fault, but you always knew where you stood with Brian. 	
We respected his sincere hope and honest belief he would be back to his old self.  We only knew Brian for four years, what we learned after he passed is how extraordinary he was.  Brian did not brag, he was a humble man but his memoirs proved how exceptional he really was. Bonnie gave us the privilege of searching through his boxes of pictures, articles and keepsakes. It was a Treasure Chest of incredible accomplishments. After seeing the items in boxes from his past, we felt like we grew up with him.  As many of you already know, we learned,  he was a top athlete in baseball, basketball, football and even track.  He was “Athlete of the Year” at Charter Oaks in California.  He had a full scholarship in football at ASU.  He hiked every inch of the Grand Canyon more than once, he owned it.  He was a great skier… a total outdoorsman.
He had the gift of gab and his stories were amazing, just like his life.  We miss him deeply but his memories will forever remain in our hearts.  If he were here, he would say, “What’s shaking Norm? All four cheeks and a couple of chins.”  He LOVED Cheers. 
With sadness he is gone but happiness he lived and grateful to have known him,

We are so sorry for your loss.  I hope you feel surrounded by much love. Sharing in your sadness as you remember Brian. Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs. With deepest sympathy from your friends at Dream Street Care. 
 Brian was a vivid person and his desire for travel and learning about new places, made him step in a much nicer and different place that the one we know.
 Rest in peace Brian and God grant you access to his wonderful garden. 

Less than a week before Brian’s passing, I had the great fortune of visiting him with our friend Al. I was met with his signature firm handshake and a long drawn out “Minnesota” in his best Ole’ impression. Although slightly uncomfortable, he still did his best to entertain us with his wit and well even a few adult based jokes. We hung around for better part of an hour exchanging a few barbs and jabs. Before departing I ask “really how are you doing” , he said the hardest thing was everyday was the same, I reminded him of date Feb 2, it’s Groundhogs Day….just like the movie, we said our goodbyes that evening to our friend in a room of full of laughter, Brian’s way.
