Billie Ruth Hutchison

Billie was born on September 23, 1933 in Braggs, Oklahoma to the late Ulys Stewart and Sally Gilstrap.

Billie and her family moved to Dateland, AZ early in her life where her father worked for the Union Pacific Railroad. Billie attended Phoenix Union High School and graduated from West High School in Phoenix.

Billie met the love of her life Charles Hutchison in Phoenix while he was on leave from the Navy. They married on December 25, 1951. They shared 68 beautiful years of marriage together. Billie loved being a homemaker and being a mother to her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her three children John (Candice) Hutchison, Robert (Shirley) Hutchison, and Becky (Dwight) Ashford, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all those she touched throughout her lifetime.

Services will take place at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary on August 5, 2021 with visitation for family and friends at 12:00 PM and a service at 1:00 PM. There will be a reception immediately following the service.
