Bernard passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. He was a beloved Father, Partner, Tio, Nino, Brother and Friend. He leaves behind his daughters Madisen and Ciannah Celaya, as well as his partner for 11 years Veronica Beltran, her children, Xavier, Jonathan and Andrella, sisters, Mary, Bernadine, Rosie and brother-in-law, Peter Arballo. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and 3 goddaughters.
What he loved most was spending time with family and friends. Whether it was celebrating birthdays, holidays, going to the movies, camping, golfing, coaching T-ball, and softball, gathering for barbecues, hangouts, or vacationing to Rocky Point, San Diego, and Disneyland. He would always make it special. He was very involved with the AGS Softball League and coached his daughters and nieces for many years from the ages of 4 to 20. In his younger days he also enjoyed playing on many co-ed softball teams alongside coaching.
He was the bartender, drink master, mixer, jokester, always sarcastic and sometimes annoying, but had to be right.
Pops was such a one of kind, amazing person. We are going to cherish everything about him and all the memories we created. You will be forever missed by all your family and friends, until we meet again…
A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 17 from 10 AM to 12 PM with graveside services right after.
