Barbara Ann Smith

Barbara lived a fulfilling life as a sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved doing puzzles, spending time with family, and relaxing. She gave back to her community by joining the neighborhood block watch, being a sewing club member making stuffed animals for the fire department, and organizing community events.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ruth Sherman (Thompson) 1920 - 1982 and Gordon Redvers Sherman 1907 - 1984, her sister Donna Marie Clifford 1939 - 2018 (Sherman), and her beloved husband Alvin Richard Smith Jr 1931 - 2009.

Barbara is survived by her three children: Denise Schulz, Bruce Smith, and Brian Smith (Karen); five grandchildren: Brenda Axelsen (Steve), Corinne Calef (Devin), Renee Huskey (Steve), Justin Smith, and Christopher Smith; and seven great-grandchildren: Michaela LaTraille, Jesse Tasel, David Pavlov Jr, Brody Smith, Dylan Huskey, Tyson Smith, and Sage Smith.

A special thanks to the health care workers at Hospice of the Valley, who were diligent in providing Barbara with the best care.
