Austin Halligan Drew

Austin Drew, 39, of Phoenix, ended his courageous battle with cancer on April 17th, with his family by his side. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, son, uncle and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and two uncles. Austin is survived by his loving wife, Gina, son Halligan, parents Connie Green, Dennis Drew, Ginny Drew, sister Michelle Drew, brother Russell Brown (April), sister Ali Lyrenmann (James), many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Austin was a native of Phoenix and graduated from Shadow Mountain High School and Northern Arizona University. He was a pillar of strength and knowledge at ARMLS where he was employed for 12 years with his most recent job as MLS Operations Director. He was an excellent track athlete in high school and enjoyed hiking the Grand Canyon. Austin could make everyone laugh and he loved a good debate. Austin met the love of his life, Gina, in Flagstaff after a concert. They were married on April 12, 2008 and welcomed son Halligan on May 6, 2012. Austin especially enjoyed teaching Halligan about super heroes, mickey mouse and a proper handshake. Austin also cherished spending time with his friends, going to Cardinals games, listening to music, watching movies and UFC fights.
