Ashley and I lost contact in 2019 after being friends for a couple years. We always had so much fun, laughing and joking around together at work where we met. I’ll always remember the New Years we celebrated together or calling her up to grab Dutch Bros. She was always there to help me with my anxiety too, showing up to my house to lend me some support even if she didn’t have much time to spare. My mom was a huge fan of her as well. I’m not really sure how we lost touch. I went though all our old texts and I guess life just got in our way. New jobs, boyfriends, family, etc.. I thought maybe she changed her number or stopped going on social media because I hadn’t heard from her. Learning about her death so long after it happened was absolutely devastating. I wish I could tell her I love her one last time and hear her laughter
