I miss you and Jojo so much. It still hurts knowing you are not here. May our dear Lord give you and Jojo Paradise, and may you rest in peace forever.  You both live in my heart.

I've known Anna since our 3rd grade at Flora Thew Elem. Anna was always so kind. We became close friends at McClintock HS and remained friends since graduation. I remember when she met Frankie at a Tempe HS football game and how nice and cute he was. She definitely fell in love!  When I met Frankie, I knew he was the one for Anna! Everything she said about him was true! Anna met the love of her life! I was honored to be a Madrina in their wedding. Anna was such a calm, sweet, joyful spirit. She loved God and her family with all her heart. She loved being Frankie's wife, mother to Steven Ray and Daniel, and Nana to her grandkids.  May 13th, wasn't the day she died, but was her Heaven Day when she truly became alive in her heavenly body! No more pain or sickness! Only joy as her spirit was ushered into our LORD Jesus' glorious presence! I picture her reuniting w/Frankie Jr. whom she loved dearly, along w/her other family members that passed before her. Frankie, thank you for taking such good care of my precious friend! Thank you for taking the time to locate me so that I could celebrate Anna's memory with you all. I will miss hearing her voice.  I always loved hearing her voice. It was unique and I can still hear it in my mind. I'm thankful for that. Much love and prayers for you all as we look forward to the day we can see her again!

Tia Anna had a heart as big as they come. She had a natural ability to make people feel loved and nurtured. She made us all feel at home, she lived for being the best wife, mother, sister, tia, niña, nana, friend - whoever you might be to her, it would never matter, she would make you feel seen and have your every last need cared for. 

For us Valencia cousins, being at Tio Frankie and Tia Anna’s house was near the best place on Earth. No matter what day of the week it may have been or what antics the kids and cousins were going to get up to, from my brother’s WWF action figure showdowns to watching Shadow the dog go down the slide outside with us on end. 

She was there for it all, prepared with any game or snack we could possibly ask for. Tia made the way for so many of our childhood memories, the time we spent together, and the bonds we kids made and will always have to treasure. 

A bit of a menace at three years old, I had already been suspended from preschool and had run my nana Patty ragged by throwing diapers at her. While I’m sure my mom and dad were ready to contemplate selling me to the circus, Tia lovingly offered to take on watching me without a blink. She was the last one who could handle me - but spending every day with her was quickly a place I’d never want to leave. 

I am so grateful that some of the very earliest memories I have from growing up are my days spent with Tia Anna. Ever gentle and warm, she was always creating something with my sister and I out of construction paper or teaching us a new letter, number, shape, or color. My mom would pick us up from their house each day with full bellies, a craft in hand, and knowing something new. There was no need for preschool, Tia Anna covered it all.  The joy and love she had for us each day gave me the ultimate example of what I hope to show my own students today as a teacher.

My condolences to my brother and my nephews for the loss of your wife/mother with a heavy heart I write this to my brother and nephews we will miss our beloved Anna she was a great wife mother grandmother sister in law  a beautiful and loving woman to her family and friends  and grandchildren may Anna rest in peace 🙏 we just received another angel to continue taking care of the family and friends 🙏 until we meet again may you rest in peace 🙏

Nina Anna was the best! She always had Steven, Daniel, and myself set up for sleep over’s and whatever antics we were up to ranging from playing video games to wwf action figure matches in the room or playing basketball, she always had the essentials, pizza, drinks, and snacks. I will forever keep these memories in my heart! The amount of love and care she provided  made me feel at home. Thank you Nina, for always loving and caring for me. You will be truly missed. Dear Mother, thank you for everything. Thou the pain of losing you will always remain, so too will the love I have for you. I take solace in knowing you are finally at peace. Your life was riddled with adversity. But you were strong through it all and always found the courage to remain positive and happy. When that time came for you to take your last breath it hurt me deeply. In that moment a piece of my heart went missing. However as I began to reflect I found comfort in my thoughts. The thought of knowing when you awoke from the best rest you had in a long time you were welcomed to a truly special sight. A sight of loved ones who have missed you dearly and are ready to embrace you in their loving arms once again. The time will come one day when I am embraced in your loving arms and my heart can be whole again. But until that day comes I will cherish the life you lived and the life you gave me as a powerful lesson. That when times are tough and adversity challenges us. So long as we keep love, compassion and happiness in our hearts we can overcome anything.

My heart aches, and the tears keep flowing. I will miss you & Jojo for the rest of my life. But, I know you both are with Mama and Daddy...you get to hold baby Frankie in your arms forever. My beloved family are with our Lord, and that brings comfort to me.
