Anita Maria Rada

Anita was born in Phoenix Arizona on November 21, 1934. She was happily married to her devoted husband Carlos Rada for 71 years. Anita loved spending time with family and friends sharing stories of her travel adventures. She was a hard worker and loved spending time in the mountains at the family cabin or in Laughlin, NV. She was very funny, but brutally honest. Her happiest moments revolved around family, food, and fun.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years Carlos Rada and her four children Yvonne Rada, Virginia Hernandez, Irene Rada and Evelyn Steeb as well as her thirteen devoted grandchildren Mario Peralta, Michael Rada, Andy Rada, Daniel Olsen, Andy Johnson, Vince Castro, Vanessa Rada, Nicole Johnson, Jessica Olsen-Flaccus, Serena Hernandez-Thomas, Melissa Olsen, Ashley Olsen-Kirch, Rachel Hernandez-Leyva. Along with fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Anita is preceded in death by her son Michael Rada and grandson Mark Peralta.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 3pm to 7pm at Resthaven Carr-Tenney Mortuary Chapel with a Rosary beginning at 4pm. Funeral Services will be held the following day, Monday, December 4, 2023 at Resthaven Carr-Tenney Mortuary Chapel at 10am. Interment will be at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.
