Anasticio is survived by his Brothers & Sister & Brother in law Manuel Maldonado, Gloria Maldonado, Roland Maldonado, Irene Maldonado, and Antonio Maldonado; his Sisters Blandina Sandoval, Sam Sandoval & Deborah Maldonado of Corpus Christi Texas.
His 4 sons & Daughter in laws Ron Maldonado, Deanna Maldonado, Craig Maldonado, Melanie Maldonado David Maldonado Patricia Maldonado and Conrad Maldonado, Rachel Maldonado & Daughter Evelyn Maldonado, Philip Oca. Grand Children Cherie Maldonado, Tiffany Maldonado, Ronald Nathanial Maldonado, Stefan Maldonado, Brandon Maldonado, Sean Maldonado, Ryan Maldonado, Nolan Maldonado, David Michael Anthony Maldonado Christian Maldonado, Daniel Maldonado, Mario Bringas, CaSandra Maldonado Megan Oca & Phil Michael Oca and 10 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his Wife Aurora Gomez Maldonado of Phoenix Arizona, his Parents Anastacio Moreno Maldonado & Aurora Pineda Maldonado. Sister Febe Graff. Son Michael Gomez Maldonado, Grand Daughter Megan Diniece Oca and his Grand Son Philip Michael Oca.
Anastacio was born on May 9, 1939 in Corpus Christi, Texas to parents Anastacio Moreno Maldonado And Aurora Pineda. He attended South Gate elementary school North Side Junior High and Roy Miller High School in Texas. He then enlisted in Air force where he served 2 years. In November of 1960, he moved to Phoenix Arizona and accepted a position as a Painters Helper and later accepted a position at Lou Grubb where he worked for more than 20 years. He also worked as a car salesman and retired as a school bus driver for the deaf from which he retired.
Anasticio was a great family man and a loving father. He married Aurora Gomez in Phoenix and the couple had 6 children together, including Michael Gomez Maldonado, who died in 1979 of Pneumonia.
Anastacio was a social, active man who was deeply involved in Grandkids lives for the majority of his life. He enjoyed listening to Spanish and Country Music and loved to dance. His family and friends will always remember him as someone that loved to watch the rain and loved his family.
A funeral is scheduled for April 13, 2021 at Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens. Sam Sandoval will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Anastacio’s life.
