On Saturday, July 27, 2013, Alice Faye Rogers, 74, of Laveen, Az., beloved wife, mother and Nanu, passed away peacefully in her sleep. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard G. Rogers, the "Love of her Life". Sisters, Margie Evans, Elizabeth Bernard and Dorothy Ritchie; Daughter, Kandi Cooney (Dennis), Sons Kevin Rogers (Janel), Kenneth Rogers (Kim), and R. Kris Rogers (Sherri). Ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and a very large loving extended family. Alice was very active with Phoenix Cotton Women, Laveen Cowbelles\Maricopa County Cattlewomen, Maricopa County Farm Bureau/Az Farm Bureau and Valley View Bible Church. Alice and Richard farmed and raised their family in the Tolleson/Laveen area. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 1, 2013, between 6:00-8:00 pm at Greenwood Memory Lawn, 719 N. 27th Ave., Phx., Az. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 2, 2013, at 11:00 am, Valley View Bible Church, 4222 E. Lincoln, PV, Az. In lieu of flowers please donate to AZFFAFoundation.org.
