With the holidays and the short notice, we understand if family and friends are unable to attend. The ceremony (only) will be livestreamed, and we will plan a Bay Area gathering in the new year.

Alex V. Cabal, of Laveen, Arizona, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024. He was 55 years old. Friends and family affectionately knew him as Junior, Jun-Jun, Dude, The Round Mound or Jobroni.

Alex was born in San Diego, California, on August 31, 1969, to Alejandro Corporal Cabal and Irene Vibares Cabal. He is survived by his parents Alejandro and Irene; his sister Claire; his brother-in-law Bardya; his nieces Cienna Malindi and Kathryn Mara; his nephew Roman; and his cat Toffee.

Alex’s passions included food (especially BBQ), sports, and music. We look forward to hearing the many shared special memories during his funeral.

He will be laid to rest at Resthaven/Carr-Tenney Mortuary & Memorial Gardens in Phoenix, Arizona.
