Alan Kirk, Age 81, of Phoenix formerly of Nottingham, England, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born on April 7, 1935 to the late Amos and Edna Kirk in Nottingham, England. Alan proudly served as a Red Cap in the English Military. On February 14, 2012 he married Carol Ann Bentley in Phoenix. He enjoyed gardening, watching cricket and football (soccer) (Go Nottingham Forrest!) and spending time with family. Alan is survived by his loving spouse, Carol; 4 children, Gary (Michelle) Kirk, John Kirk, Paul Kirk, and Hazel Hinton; 2 siblings, Malcolm Kirk and Derrick Kirk; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Julia Kirk. Interment services will take place in England at a future date.
