Teresa Darlene Gilmore

Teresa Darlene Gilmore, age 56, of Smiths Station, Alabama passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023. Teresa was born in Smiths Station, Alabama; daughter of the late Walter and Evelyn McConnell Johnson.

She was a member of The Way Church in Smiths Station, AL and loved her children and grandchildren.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Walter Skaggs.

Survivors include her husband, Clayton Eugene Gilmore, three daughters, Christina Rebecca Tharp (Tullis Nathaniel Tharp), Elisha Lynn Fields, Kristy Hessler (Morgan Hessler), three sons, Cody Lee Gilmore (Skyla Penick), Mason Storm Gilmore (Robin), Douglas Clay Gilmore and eight grandchildren, Jessi Rose Tharp, Bryan Russell Fields, Jackson Isiah Fields, Leah Madison Marie Fields, R.J. Hessler, Cheyenne Marie Gilmore, Sophia Nicole Gilmore and Cody Lee Gilmore, Jr.

A visitation for family and friends for Teresa will be held Friday, January 13, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama 36867, followed by a celebration of life funeral service at 2:00 PM.
