Patsy Ruth "Pat" Dobbs

A service to celebrate Pat’s life will be held Monday, February 5, 2024, in the Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Phenix City, AL. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. Dan Elkins will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pat was born February 22, 1939 in Pike County, AL. She was the daughter of the late James Henry Price, Sr., and Annie Ruth Little Price. She was raised on a farm where she learned the simple things in life such as hard work and dedication to family. Pat never met a stranger, and if she did, they probably were not strangers long. She was known for her quick wit, good jokes and her gift of laughter. We will miss her presence daily, but her memory will live forever in our hearts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pappy Dobbs, two great granddaughters, one great grandson, four sisters, and four brothers.

Survivors include her children, Diane Jackson, Barbara Bottoms (Sid), Gilbert Johnston (Yvonne), and Patty Adams; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Carden, and Linda Blalock; two brothers, Jim Price, Sr., (Jan), and Billy Price (Jennifer); numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Eric Johnston, Keith Foskey, Hunter Johnston – Evans, Logan Phillips, Hawk Phillips and Jason Price. Honorary pallbearers are Brenton Wilkinson, River Foskey and Karson Wilkinson.
