Mary Anna Franklin

Mary Anna Schuster Franklin born October 17, 1931; preceded in death by her parents Mike and Mozelle Schuster, her husband Cecil E. Franklin and son, Tim Franklin. Mother to sons Cecil M. Franklin, Bennie Steve Franklin (Angie) and Randy Franklin (Debra); daughters Diane Ruhland (Russell) and Dixie Harwood. Loving grandmother to Stephen, Tina, Jennifer, Amanda, Michael, Paula, Robert, Derek, Brooke, Clay and great-grandmother to Matthew, Nicole, Adam, Kala, Anna, Lena, Blake, Dalton, Brendan, Colt, Grace, James, Ben and Ryan.

Cecil and Mary Anna operated the Friendly Store on 17th Avenue throughout the 60's. She retired from the David Rothschild Company after 45 years.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday March 10, 2017 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City with Rev. Jim Caldwell officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

In lieu of food, the family requests donations be made to Columbus Hospice.
