Linda Joyce Bernier Swartz, who loved to be called "Gammy" by her grandkids, departed her loving family on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 5:00 am.
Joyce was born in Phenix City, Alabama on June 6, 1965 to Betty Burrows and Henry Bernier (deceased).
Joyce was mother to April Fletcher and Shonda Dugan; 3 step-sons (1 deceased), 3 step-daughters and 20 grandchildren.
She raised her children with love, sacrifice and devotion.
Aside from her children, she was doted on by her husband, Thomas Glen Swartz, mom and stepdad, Betty and Arthur Burrows, brother, Jimmy Bernier and Bernier family and her extended family and friends.
Services will be held at Glenn Anthony Baptist Church, 1109 39th St., Columbus, GA 31904, Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 12:00 pm with a family reception to follow.
The last ride: 4:00 pm, meet at 45 Bush Rd. Smiths Station, AL 36877; kickstands up at 4:30 pm.
