Julian Ray Taylor

A visitation for family and friends for Julian will be held Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary - Phenix City, 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama 36867. Following the visitation for family and friends will be a graveside service with military honors at 2:00 PM at Lakeview Memory Gardens, 3800 Hwy 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama 36867.

Mr. Taylor was born May 29, 1943 in Andalusia, Alabama; son of the late Jessie Ray and Coka Wiggins Taylor. He served in the US Army, was employed with the Winn Dixie for 25 years and later retired from the Piggly Wiggly.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Gail Taylor, daughter, Melanie "Lolo" Taylor and the mother of his children, Catherine Diane Taylor.

Survivors include his children, Robbie Taylor, Johnny Ray Taylor (Friendale), Kimberly Denise Taylor, Mark Damon Taylor (Lenden), sister, Mildred Allford, grandchildren, Ethan Taylor, Raymond Taylor, Kimberly Zuchelli and his great grandchildren, Cooper, Junior, Destiny, Emmitt and Ella.

Mr. Taylor was an avid Alabama fan and anyone who wishes to honor him to please wear Alabama attire.
