On early Sunday, August 30, 2020, B.J. entered into a peaceful and eternal resting home. A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, September 4, 2020 from 4pm to 6pm at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 US Hwy 431 N, Phenix City, AL.
B.J was born October, 16, 1983 to Johnnie Dunn and the late Rebecca Dunn in Opelika, Alabama. At an early age he joined St. Stephens, and in 2002, he was a proud graduate of Smiths Station High School. He was happily employed with Wood Co Constructions for 12 years, and his hobbies included drag racing, BBQs, and his family.
B.J. was preceded in death by his loving mother, Rebecca Dunn, and one beautiful daughter.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Amanda Dunn of Salem, AL; son, Anthony Dunn of Salem, AL; daughter, Olivia Dunn of Harris Country, GA; father, Johnnie Dunn of Salem, AL; four sisters, Laura (Edward) Russell of Opelika, AL, Carolyn Dunn of Valley, AL, Joyce Cox of Pellum, GA, and Bonnie Dunn of Salem, AL; and two nieces, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He also leaves two best friends, Wessley Rodgers and Gabe Woodham, and close friend, Prentess Johnson, to cherish memories.
