Fay McCarty

A visitation for family and friends for Fay will be held Friday, March 3, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Summerville Baptist Church, Phenix City, Alabama. A celebration of life funeral service will occur Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM, Phenix City, Alabama. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens, Phenix City, Alabama.

Mrs. McCarty was born December 4, 1941 in Gadsden, Alabama; daughter of the late Willis O. and Margaret Gordon Weaver. She was retired from BellSouth with 31 years of service and was a member of Summerville Baptist Church in Phenix City, AL.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Frederick McCarty and her brother, Billy Jo Weaver.

Survivors include her daughters, Paula M. Patrick (Scott), Angela M. Cameron (David), sister, Penny Braswell, brother, Eli Weaver; grandchildren, Rachel Brown (Brant), Chelsee Fielding (Andrew), Blake Cameron, great grandchildren, Warren Fielding, Liam Brown and Arielle Brown.
