David was born June 5, 1961 in Columbus, Georgia; son of the late David A. Pugh and Nancy Hammock Pugh.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, loved hunting, racing and was self-taught in the art of crafting bow and arrows and knives. He was baptist by faith.
Survivors include his brother, Michael Andrew "Andy" Pugh and wife, Denise, sister, Nancy "K" Vaughan, nieces and nephews, Joshua Vaughan and wife, Amber, Aaron Vaughan and wife, Terri Lynn, Andrew Pugh and wife, Becca and Anthony Pugh. He is also survived by his great nieces and nephews, Alexis, Jase and Tanner Vaughan; Kamry, Laelah and Michael Andrew Pugh, III, Calie, Kole, Baylee and Laynie Davison.
