Avie Evelyn Gilliland, age 98, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held, Friday, February 24, 2023, at 11:00 AM (EST), at the chapel of Striffler Hamby, 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, AL 36867. Burial will immediately follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens, 3800 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, AL 36867. Visitation for family and friends will be held, Friday, February 24, 2023, at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.

Ms. Gilliland is preceded in death by, Clinton Gilliland, Sr. and son, Floyd Gilliland.

Survivors include her children, Ray Gilliland, Larry (Mary) Gilliland, Harry (Rose Mary) Gilliland, Jerry (Chilita) Gilliland, Ben (Peggy) Gilliland, and Dinki Jennings; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; thirteen great-great grandchildren.
