Ruben V Rodriguez

Born in Pharr, TX, he lived in Pharr and Chicago most of his life. Ruben was a hard working man, with positive spirit always looking at the bright side of things, He was loved everywere he went. In 1960, Ruben married the love of his life, Dolores and together they had a family with three loving children. Ruben was a family oriented man, he loved his family with all of his heart. With his wife he was caring, loving, provider, and he was her best-friend. Having his family united and happy was what made him happy. His smile and positive personality are going to be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Ruben is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years of marriage, Dolores Rodriguez; his three children, Dina Roeseler, Monica Rodriguez, Ruben (Elva) Rodriguez, Jr.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; his three sisters, Celia Dorsey, Lupita Chapa, and Lala Rodriguez.

The visitation will be held from 4 pm to 10 pm, with a talk at 7 pm, on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Visitation will resume at 9 am on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, with funeral service at 12 pm at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley.
