PHARR- Rosa Maria Rodriguez, 56, left to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. She was born to Praxedis & Reyna Escamilla on February 10, 1961 in Cuidad Mante, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Left to cherish her memory are her loving children; Mayra (Marcos Muñoz) Vazquez, Yazmin (Rodolfo Barajas) Vazquez, Edna (Oscar Obregon) Vazquez and Edgar Cifuentes. She will also be greatly missed by her father, Praxedis Escamilla; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings: Luis Escamilla, Griselda Esmer, Antonio Escamilla, Julio Escamilla, Sara Soto, Blanca Esqueda, Gilberto Escamilla and Praxedis Escamilla Jr. Family will receive friends Friday, January 5, 2018 from 2 pm to 9 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 pm, Saturday, January 6, 2018 at St Jude Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow to Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palm Valley Funeral Home of Pharr.
