Born on January 26, 1958, he lived the majority of his life in Edinburg. Rogelio was a hard worker and enjoyed working as a mechanic. He was an avid watcher of Channel 5 News and enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune daily with his wonderful daughter Brandy Lee. Rogelio loved racing, cars, and motorcycles. He loved to work on his own vehicles and test his skills. What he did not know he figured out. He was known as "MacGyver." He cherished his family, especially his granddaughter Jovi.
Rogelio is preceded in death by his parents, Celso and Jacinta Ramirez and his sister Rosa Maria Ramirez.
He is survived by his four beloved children; Rogelio (Christina) Ramirez Jr., Brandy Lee Ramirez, Nicholas Adrian Ramirez, Maya Concepcion Marin (Betsy) and his granddaughter; Jovita Amelia Ramirez, his siblings; Ofilia Rodriguez, Teresita Ramirez, Odilia MacWilliams, Celso Ramirez Jr., Ricardo Ramirez, Ruby Perez, and his loving ex-wife and greatest caretaker; Maria DeJesus Ramirez.
A viewing will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley from 4PM to 10PM with a rosary service at 7pm. Funeral services will continue Tuesday, July 25, 2023 with a Chapel service at 10.00am.and burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery 11:00am.
