Ramiro Garza

Born in Edinburg, TX, he was a life time resident and member of El Buen Pastor United Methodist Church.

Mr. Garza married the love of his life on August 1, 1958, Lucila and together they had a beautiful family with four children. Ramiro was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he enjoyed sports and spending quality time with his boys. Mr. Garza was a family oriented man, he dedicated his life to his beautiful wife and family. He was a proud and loving grandfather, he was a role model to his grandkids motivating them at all times to continue their education and keep God in their hearts. Mr. Garza had a strong faith, and he shared that with all of his family. He was an excellent husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, son and uncle. His unique personality and wise advice is going to be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his youngest son, Rolando Garza.

Mr. Garza is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years of marriage, Lucila Garza; his three sons, Hugo (Alma) Garza, Gustavo (Marina) Garza, Ramiro (Natalie Bea) Garza, Jr., ; a daughter-in-law, Martha Garza; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and extended family.

Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 9 pm, with a 7 pm prayer service at El Buen Pastor United Methodist, 705 E University Dr, Edinburg, TX 78539. A christian service will occur Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 9:00 AM at El Buen Pastor United Methodist Church, 705 E University Dr, Edinburg, TX 78539. The burial continue at 11:00 AM at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens, 4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577.

Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
