Margarita Leija

Margarita was family oriented and enjoyed spending quality time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews whom she adored dearly and loved as if they were her own kids. Margarita attended Pan American University and graduated with her degree in nursing. She was extremely work oriented and devoted over 30 years as a respiratory nurse in the Neonatal Unit. Margarita was a caring and beloved daughter, sister and friend who was fun, generous, and a jokester. Her unique personality and charisma will be forever remembered and greatly missed. Margarita was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Margarita will be remembered as a very exceptional person. Through it all, her faith in our Lord Jesus Christ remained strong.

Margarita is preceded in death by father Maximo Leija and mother Trinidad, and siblings, Remijio, Genaro, Olivia, Oralia, Rogelio, and Annabel.

Margarita is survived by her beloved nieces and nephews as well as extended family and friends.

A burial of ashes will be held on December 4, 2020 at 1:00pm at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
