

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Margarita (Maggie) Barrera, who passed away on March 14, 2024 at the age of 37. Leaving a void that echoes like laughter and an empty room, born January 26th 1987 Maggie's journey through life was marked by her unwavering love, joy and laughter.
Maggie was a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, always willing to lend a helping hand and a listening ear. Her warm personality, infectious laughter and generous heart made her an instant favorite among all who knew her. She had a passion for family gathering and spontaneous trips which she shared with her family and friends. Maggie's laughter was contagious to all, it could light up the darkest of nights. She was a guardian, a protector not just to those she loved but to everyone! A force against any who dare harm her cherished ones. Her nieces and nephews whom she adored beyond measure are recipient of her boundless love and care. Maggie's memory is one of pure joy and an open heartedness exploring the world with excitement. Maggie's spirit will continue to guide us reminding us of the beauty in one another, the power of laughter and the importance of guarding those we love.
Despite facing many challenges in her life, Maggie remained resilient and persevered through it all. She was a fighter till the end, and her unwavering faith in God was an inspiration to us all.
Survived with deep sorrow by her husband, Ramiro Barrera; two brothers, Santiago (Criselda) Salinas, Jesus Salinas; seven nieces and nephews Dominic, Dylan, Devon, Jesus Alcario Jr, Laila, Destiny, Isabella; her father, Mario Salinas; many more family and friends
Maggie is preceded in death by her mom Maria Antonia Rosales
We will miss her dearly, but take comfort in the fact that she is now in a better place, free from pain and suffering. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
Her life will be celebrated in private at a later date.
